One Crazy Week

Been away from the updates because I’ve been battling writer’s block and trying to undo the mess that I created for the 4th draft of The Starchild.

Chapter 11 and 12 respectively have been a real pain in the ass, but I think I’ve hit on a story arc that will compliment what’s going on. So much has changed from the third draft, I feel (literally) that I’ve been going around in circles.

The job hunt continues, but success in landing one has been small to none so far. I’m still waiting on the applications I’ve submitted–even though a couple are dead on arrival.

But like so many who are still looking for any kind of work, my pursuit in employment will likely last several more months before I call it a day. (There’s so much you can do about beating your head against a brick wall before you finally realize you’ve been hurting yourself more than that wall.)

Still, I plan to put all my efforts and what energy I have to looking for work–even though the odds are stacked against me every step of the way. ^_^
