From The New To The Semi-Old (Not Chocolate!)

381152_10151151486522300_1375211992_nI thought it would take me a week, two tops to switch gears and get back to my other novel, Starchild-Broken Dreams, but yesterday I found that I just plunked right in and picked up where I left off about a year ago–before my chronic depression kicked in and made life more interesting than it should have.

By my calculations, the new material for the book will span roughly 20 chapters (25 if I’m feeling generous) and finish this last leg of a long and intensive journey that has lasted me about 18 years from start to finish.  (With Book 1 cresting 170,829 words–give or take a wild goose.)

Yes, boys and girls, The Starchild will OFFICIALLY be done in the next couple of months or so–just in time for a new year to start (and my 40th birthday come January 3rd)–and the beginning of The Farthest Star saga.
